Overview

The Power Quick Scrapper is a strong offensive Quickness class. It offers:

  • High initial burst and strong sustained damage
  • A large amount of crowd control
  • Group support with high Vulnerability uptime, around 13 stacks of Might and some Protection.
  • The ability to boonstrip with Detonate when running Throw Mine
  • An incredible skill set for various skips in Tier 4 fractals due to access to Stealth, as well as Superspeed and a targeted leap with Jump Shot

The build benefits from slaying potions such as Powerful Potion of Slaying Scarlet's Armies and Superior Sigil of Impact .

Gameplay

Power Scrapper Has a priority based rotation, that is fairly fast paced. It also tries to ensure high uptime on several modifiers to increase its damage:

Although Scrapper has a priority based rotation, there is one main skill combination you want to prioritise above all others and do almost off cooldown where possible, this is Electro-whirl (Hammer 2) into Shrapnel Grenade ( Grenade Kit 2, Utility Skill). At the start of phases try to follow the burst rotation below, where cooldowns are availible, and outside of this use the prioirty list below for filler skills. Additionally, make sure to try to maintain the uptime of the Traits and Relic listed above to increase your damage as much as possible.

When playing Quickness Scrapper, Quickness is generated through the trait Kinetic Accelerators . Every time you perform a blast or leap finisher, you will share Quickness to allies. Using the build at the top of the page, each finisher will share 4 seconds of Quickness. Depending on the group and phase lengths, you may have to adjust your skills and rotation, to focus more on sharing Quickness, and other times it may be enough to do a proper prestack, and just do the burst rotation. Also make sure you are ready to share quickness shortly before boss phases starts on CM fights, especially after periods of downtime, where other builds may want to precast some skills into the start of the phase.

Skill Precasts

Skill precasts can be done on fights that you start out of combat. They are optional to do, however by succesfully hitting precast skills, you can massively increase your burst damage at the start of the fight. When Engineer casts a toolbelt skill, it can be swapped out without the new skill being on cooldown. Additionally, Throw Mine and Mine Field can both be precasted before starting a fight, similar to trap skills on Soulbeast or Dragonhunter.

Basic Precast

This precast requires two build templates. A build template with precast skills, and one with your in fight skills. Having a countdown in voice when triggering bosses, or triggering them yourself will make this easier to do.

  1. Big Ol' Bomb ( Bomb Kit Toolbelt)
  2. Swap to in-fight template

Advanced Precast

This precast is only an option in organised groups. To be effective, you need to be able to cast these skills and pull the boss quickly to benefit, having someone count down in voice when triggering the boss is a good idea to make this consistent. It requires two equipment templates and two build templates! You will need an equipment template with Relic of the Brawler for your two Relic precasts, and finally your in fight template, as well as a build template with precast skills, and one with your in fight skills. A simpler version if this precast is to skip Relic of the Brawler and just precast Relic of Cerus .

  1. Blast Gyro (Utility)
  2. Big Ol' Bomb ( Bomb Kit Toolbelt)
  3. Inventory swap to Relic of Cerus
  4. Swap to in-fight template
